Laparoscopic Urology

Minimally invasive surgery, also known as laparoscopic or keyhole surgery is a procedure that uses a small telescope with built-in magnification mechanism and a variety of thin surgical instruments. The advantages are smaller skin scars, lesser post-operative pain, less blood loss during surgery and early recovery to work. Laparoscopic surgeries are commonly done for problems involving kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder and prostate.

Paediatric Urology

Paediatric Urology is a surgical subspecialty that deals with issues of children’s genitourinary system. We offer specialized care for the entire spectrum of paediatric urologic conditions and disorders. Conditions treated include PUJ obstruction, vesicoureteric reflux (VUR), posterior urethral valve (PUV), urinary tract infection (UTI), kidney stones, tumours, hematuria and undescended testis.

Reconstructive Urology

Reconstructive urology deals with reconstructing any part of the urinary system to maintain a safe urinary system. It commonly treats urethral strictures, urinary leakage and stress urinary leak through artificial urinary sphincters or mid-urethral slings.

Uro Oncology

Urological cancers include kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder, prostate, penis and testis cancers. Early detection and timely surgical intervention significantly improve treatment outcomes. Multidisciplinary uro-oncology care ensures curative therapy with improved quality of life.

Neuro-urology & Urodynamics

Neuro-urology focuses on bladder disorders related to spinal injuries and neurological disorders, commonly referred to as neurogenic bladder. Urodynamics is a computer-assisted study used to assess bladder and sphincter pressures to guide treatment selection.

Endourology

Endourology uses small endoscopes and instruments to perform minimally invasive surgeries inside the urinary tract without extensive skin scars. Procedures like kidney stone and prostate surgeries are now commonly performed using advanced endoscopic technology.

Andrology and Men’s Sexual Health

Andrology is a subspecialty of Urology addressing Men’s Sexual Health and Male Infertility. Common conditions treated include erectile dysfunction (ED), premature ejaculation, testosterone deficiency and sperm abnormalities. The Men’s Health Clinic specializes in penile implant surgery and advanced male reproductive care.
